LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Your use of and browsing on the Site are done at your own risk, subject to mandatory local consumer protection laws. 4. Governing Law, Jurisdiction, and Dispute Resolution

4.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. 

4.2 Dispute Resolution - Tiered Approach

Step 1: Direct Resolution Students should first contact our Student Services team through our dedicated portal. We commit to responding within 48 hours (business days in your time zone).

Step 2: Mediation For unresolved disputes, both parties agree to attempt mediation through an internationally recognized online mediation service.

Step 3: Jurisdiction for Legal Proceedings Jurisdiction lies with the Superior Court in Los Angeles County, California, or federal courts for the Central District of California.

5. International Payment Terms and Currency

5.1 Currency

All prices are quoted in USD unless specifically stated otherwise. Students are responsible for any currency conversion fees charged by their financial institutions.

5.2 Exchange Rates

For students paying in local currencies, exchange rates are determined at the time of payment processing. THE COMPANY is not responsible for exchange rate fluctuations between enrollment and payment.

5.3 International Payment Processing

Additional fees may apply for international payment processing. These will be clearly disclosed before payment completion. Students are responsible for any fees charged by their financial institutions for international transactions.

5.4 Payment Plan Modifications

For students facing currency devaluation or economic hardship in their home country, THE COMPANY may, at its discretion, offer modified payment arrangements. Such arrangements must be requested in writing with supporting documentation.

6. Refund and Cancellation Policy

6.1 Time Zone Specifications

All deadlines are calculated in Pacific Standard Time (PST/PDT) unless otherwise specified. International students may request deadline extensions to account for time zone differences in payment processing or communication delays.

6.2 Currency for Refunds

Refunds will be processed in the currency of original payment. Students are responsible for any currency conversion fees on refunded amounts.

6.3 Administration Fee

An administration fee of 10% of the full, undiscounted program cost applies to all refunds.

6.5 Banking Considerations

Refund processing may take up to 60 days for students not located in the USA due to banking delays. Students will be notified of processing status and can request expedited processing for an additional fee.

Force Majeure Events: Natural disasters, political instability, or government restrictions affecting a student's ability to participate may qualify for special consideration.

Technical Access Issues: Unlike standard technical issue exclusions, international students facing persistent connectivity issues due to infrastructure limitations in their region may qualify for alternative arrangements.

7. Data Protection and International Compliance

7.1 Data Processing

THE COMPANY processes personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

7.2 International Data Transfers

Student data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. We implement appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses where required.

8. Course Access and Technical Support

8.1 System Requirements

8.2 Technical Support

Whilst every effort will be made to be as responsive as possible. However, officially, technical support is available 09:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday Pacific Standard time. Response times may vary by region due to infrastructure and time zone differences.

8.3 Post-Completion Access

Upon successful completion, students receive six (6) months additional access to completed coursework, with extensions available for international students facing delays in credential processing in their home countries.

9. Eligibility and Verification

9.1 International Credential Recognition

THE COMPANY works with credential evaluation services to assess international qualifications. Students may be required to provide translated and notarized documents.

9.2 Professional Registration Requirements

Students are advised that course completion may not automatically qualify them for professional registration in their home country. Students should verify local requirements before enrollment.
